Introducing TorreRentals for Caravan Owners
TorreRentals is a small family business based in Peterborough, run by Su Kelly (wife and mother of two) and husband Gary . We have been in the Spanish holiday rentals business for over 10 years but have been renting out our own caravan for the past 4 years – sited at Clippesby 4.
During those 4 years we have been working with the very well respected Donna Leslie of Donnavanholidays and when Donna decided that she needed to wind down her caravan rental business she asked us to offer our rental services to any of her previous clients/owners and any future caravan owners who wished to continue renting their vans out privately.
With this in mind we are delighted to offer our services and would like to explain how we work and how we might be able to help you.
How it Works When TorreRentals Takes a Booking for Your Caravan
For all holiday bookings TorreRentals takes for your caravan, we deal exclusively with the client, from first enquiry, to sending the “Welcome Home” follow-up email (any client comments - good or bad - are forwarded on to the owner). We also issue a comprehensive and legally binding rental contract to our clients (copies of which can be forwarded to the owner upon request). Clients must sign and return this contract to TorreRentals and full rental payment must be made before we will allow them to enter your caravan. We also insist on a £50 Damage Deposit from our clients, which is refundable upon satisfactory inspection by the cleaners.
When we accept a booking for your caravan we take 25% of the agreed rental fee as a booking deposit which is made payable to TorreRentals and which is a non-refundable, non-transferable administration fee.
Assuming the rental booking successfully proceeds to conclusion, the remaining 75% of the rental fee is then paid to you within 1 week after the booked dates have passed. All you need to do is tell us where you prefer payment, it can be by way of a bank transfer, a company cheque or directly into your Bourne Leisure account (log in details need to be provided to us in order for us to make payments into your account with Bourne Leisure). If you do not have access to the internet we can assist with the set up of your online account with Bourne Leisure.
Where the 25% booking deposit is in excess of £39 TorreRentals will also cover the cost of departure cleaning for all TorreRental clients. Owners will only be charged for any cleaning needed for their own bookings or in the case of a TorreRental booking where the booking deposit is below £39.
We are more than happy to provide a comprehensive rental service for your caravan or simply work with you to “fill in the gaps” you may have throughout the season but in order to do either effectively we must always be kept informed on the availability or unavailability of your caravan. This can be done by way of text / email or phone and in return we promise to contact you with confirmation of all bookings we take.

BEGINNING OF SEASON
Spring Cleaning Service £75.00
covering the cleaning of :-
Cupboards, Cooker, Fridge, all plates, pots and pans cleaned
Ceilings and walls wiped down
Floors, window frames and windows, doors cleaned
Power wash the outside of the Caravan
Hoover all Carpets and beds
Polish all woodwork and mirrors
does not include carpet steam cleaning – this service can be provided for an extra £20 for
the main lounge area and £10 per bedroom or hallway when ordered with a Spring Clean
Carpet steam cleaning (per room) from £15.00
Exterior Power Wash £25.00
PAT Testing of all electrical appliances within the caravan £35.00
3 Yearly Electric Supply test & Certification (service provided by Haven) £50.00
Standard departure clean (see terms & conditions for who pays this fee) £25.00
Annual TV Licence £35.00
Carbon Monixide indicators (per unit) £10.00
Caravan general check £5.00
END OF SEASON / WINTER SERVICES
Closing up of caravan £50.00
including :-
Bagging up quilts and all curtains/nets in black bags
Putting all electrical equipment out of sight
Clearing out & defrosting fridge/freezer
One salt change midway through winter
but does not include Drain down service – this service can be provided for an extra £25 if
ordered with the closing up service.
